Mark L. Russakow is a 1992 graduate of Loyola Law School. Prior to law school, Mr. Russakow attended the University of California at Irvine, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
Mr. Russakow has achieved multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts for his plaintiff clients, as well as successful settlements and verdicts while representing management and insurance companies. His extensive litigation experience consists of numerous trials, and hundreds of arbitrations and mediations. Mr. Russakow often obtains "win-win" resolutions for his clients that avoid the necessity of protracted and expensive litigation. Although he employs an aggressive litigation posture, he is known for achieving creative settlement solutions that are often more beneficial than "winning the lawsuit". In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Russakow has lectured on numerous occasions to various human resource groups on methods to prevent sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuits. He has been elected a "Rising Star, Super Lawyer" in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
He practices in the areas of business and commercial law, employment law, insurance law, labor law, civil litigation and appeals, and personal injury. Mr. Russakow is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Southern California Defense Bar, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and is admitted to practice in all California State courts, the United States District Court, Central District and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He also serves as a legal expert and ongoing legal correspondent for KNX Radio.
